2nd Edition of “Jocs de Socorrisme de Formentera”

The body of Rescue and Salvage of Formentera has become another day to organize more relief with the aim of bringing the profession first aid to the population of Formentera.

These activities will be held on Thursday September 15 in the presence ofGovernor’s Councillor for Sant Antoni de Portmany, Ramon Cardona Franciscobeaches and the coordinator, Maria Jose Sanchez.

In the competition there will be three teams competing with each other, with a total of 18 rescuers involved. A team shall consist of the rescuers of Sant Antoni dePortmany, another for those of Formentera and a third by members of Arenals.

All games are designed for competition to use the rescue techniques used by lifeguards. Salvage materials shall be used as torpedoes, jet skis, reel, rescueboards. Etc.

This activity aims to become an annual event to close the season with a competition that has no other purpose than to create leisure time, sports andbringing citizens into the profession.
